Abdominal vaginal laparoscopic hysterectomy
A hysterectomy is the removal of the uterus and in some conditions; the fallopian tubes and ovaries are removed. This most common reason the hysterectomy includes benign fibroids, tumors in the uterus, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, genital prolapse, and chronic pelvic problems.

Laparoscopy assisted vaginal hysterectomy, known as LAVH is a surgical procedure using a laparoscope guided to remove the uterus and fallopian and ovaries if necessary based on the criticality of problems. This procedure involves performing the procedure with laparoscope and other instruments through the incision in the abdomen or vagina. In some case the normal hysterectomy is sufficient and in some case it is not.
